Manager of Consulting

Carlos Torres has worked at ABCO since the company’s inception as a senior consultant and engagement manager. He has a strong background in project evaluation, management consulting, and extensive experience in peer review for government agencies and multilateral banks.

Before joining ABCO Mr. Torres worked as Project Manager and later as Planning Director at Universidad Latina de Panama (Latina University); there, he oversaw the policy for strategic planning and the university budget.  In Venezuela, he was in charge of the development of diverse engineering and construction projects, as served as Sales Manager of a recognized company in this sector.

Mr. Torres is an electronic engineer from Simon Bolivar University and holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management degree from the University of Louisville and an MBA from Florida International University.
